The electronic patrol market is expanding and becoming more intelligent

Electronic patrol systems entered China in the 1990s and are roughly divided into two categories: online patrol systems and offline patrol systems. Online electronic patrol refers to the comprehensive wiring within a certain range, where the patrol device is set at a certain patrol point, and the patrol personnel carry information buttons or cards to patrol according to the wiring range; Managers only need to be in the central monitoring room to see the patrol route where the patrol personnel are located and the time they arrive at the patrol point; If the patrol personnel encounter an accident and do not read the card, the center can quickly verify and handle emergencies. Due to the ability to achieve real-time control through online systems, it is more suitable to use online systems in places where patrol requirements are particularly strict or there is a certain degree of danger in patrol work. In addition, in communities or management areas with multiple access control points, combined with access control wiring, online patrol systems can also be used.

But its disadvantages are large construction volume, high cost, easy to be affected by temperature, humidity, and wiring range, and relatively troublesome installation and maintenance. Moreover, for already decorated buildings, it is difficult to reconfigure them; In addition, transmission lines installed outdoors are also prone to human damage.

Due to the above shortcomings of online patrol systems, some manufacturers introduced offline patrol systems in the mid to late 1990s. Compared with online mode, this method has the advantages of easy portability, no need for wiring, simple installation, no impact from temperature and humidity, and less damage. It solves the problem of expensive investment and makes system expansion and line changes easier to achieve. Once the product is promoted, it is very popular among users. Currently, offline patrol has become the mainstream product in the domestic market, accounting for about 90% of the market share. Offline patrol systems are divided into two types: contact and induction. Nowadays, consumers in the market place greater emphasis on the intelligent functions of electronic patrol products.

The market is expanding

Due to its late start and lack of standardization in the early stages of development, the electronic patrol system has low requirements for the technical and financial strength of agents and distributors, resulting in relatively low entry barriers for the entire industry and a large number of new entrants. At the same time, the continuous upgrading of electronic patrol systems and the flexible operation methods have led to the gathering of many small investment and small-scale enterprises in the industry. However, after more than a decade of market baptism and survival of the fittest, most of the surviving companies have been caught in the battle. The technology of electronic patrol products is also constantly improving with the development of the market, which can meet the needs of more customers in different fields.

At present, the patrol machine market is constantly developing towards depth and breadth. With the driving force of the real estate industry, communities, hotels, streets and other areas have attached great importance to patrol work. Some areas that did not have patrol systems installed in the past have also begun to supervise security work through patrol systems. With the attention and investment of the government, electronic patrol products will become increasingly popular, providing guarantees for the people to live and work in peace and contentment; On the other hand, various industries, such as postal services, airports, railways, grain depots, military, oil fields, factories, banks, museums, etc., have also begun to adopt patrol systems to strengthen security management. The newly added functions of patrol equipment such as meters and gas monitoring can effectively help patrol personnel simplify the operation process and provide scientific and accurate data as a basis.
